The studio gained its own entry point: studio.foundersdubai.biz. It needed to explain what Andrey and I do together: help turn an idea and a product problem into design, development, and a launch.

First, separate the existing design

The first step was practical. The design already existed in the Founders & Investors project. I extracted the studio website into a separate repository, retained its design, and prepared an independent launch. The first version used HTML, CSS, and plain JavaScript, with the Golos font hosted locally.

At this stage, I checked more than the opening screen. We needed working Russian and English versions, section navigation, a mobile menu, and a clear route to discussing a project. The website had to remain readable on a narrow screen, and its menu had to close predictably.

Below is a local copy of the studio’s public website. It preserves the real composition, fonts, and interface of the Russian version. External navigation is disabled in the demo.

Two websites, one editorial platform

On 7 October 2026, the static version launched on a separate subdomain. That same day, the studio and club websites moved to a shared Astro and EmDash platform. Visually, they remained two different websites: each with its own purpose, pages, and address. Their technical foundation and content management became shared.

The old static repository remained as the design source and a way back to the previous version. That is why the project history has two stacks. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript belong to the first release; Astro and EmDash to the next stage. These are successive stages of work, not competing descriptions of the same release.

This screen opens the work section. You can see how project examples connect to the studio’s approach. This is the public website interface, not its administration area.

What this case study shows

For me, the whole journey from interface to working address matters here. Separating projects, preserving the design, connecting an editorial system, and checking that one website does not change another: this work barely shows in a beautiful screenshot, but it makes further development possible.

I dated the case study to the first launch on 7 October. The static version then gained a shared platform with the club website. This post covers implementing the website; I describe the work with Andrey and the studio’s direction separately.

I dated this post to the first confirmed launch, 7 October. That does not mean the entire job took one day: design preparation started earlier, and platform development continued after release. Open the studio website.
