I built an event organiser’s portfolio website that connects photographs with the structure of the work and a way to enquire. It needed to convey the projects’ character and help visitors understand who was behind them.

For Valeria’s Amalfi Events portfolio, I arranged a sequence in which photographs serve as evidence of experience. Visitors need to see the character of the events, understand the services, and reach a contact. They should not have to learn how the website works first.

The “Valeria’s website — opening screen” view preserves the project’s actual materials and design.

Beautiful things need structure too

The application uses React and Vite. Styles and components use Tailwind and shadcn; motion stays within the existing visual language. But the important part for the portfolio’s future is that content lives in a separate data file. Pages CMS gives editors a form on top of Git: text and selections can change without a tour of the components.

A Cloudflare Worker serves the finished website files.

When content is separate from components, the next set of photographs does not become a small development project involving whoever once wrote the opening screen. The website has a chance to outlive its own grand opening.

The “Valeria’s website — inner section” view preserves the project’s actual materials and design.

Not every business needs a large platform immediately

This project handles Valeria’s public portfolio. Amalfi’s internal workflows belong to a separate application.

The result here is specific: an editable visual portfolio and a clear route to an enquiry. The business shows its work first, then starts a conversation. Contracts, clients, and internal processes can be automated separately when that is actually needed.

This is Amalfi’s separate portfolio website, not the team’s internal application. My work covered presenting the materials and implementing the pages. The preserved screens show that stage’s result without unverified enquiry figures.
