# Wio said “Yes!” My account is approved!

This is the letter:

> *Hi ALEKSANDR,*

> *The wait is almost over! Your account is approved and it’s only pending activation!*

> *You can now log in and fund your account through bank transfers. However, you won't be able to make outward transfers until your account is fully activated.*

> *Your account will be activated once we deliver your Wio Business debit card and cheque book within 2-5 working days.*

> *Make sure you've got your Emirates ID ready!*

> *We’ll let you know in case we need to see the original copies of your company documents and visit your office location.*

For some it’s just a notification. For me this is an important step forward.

Opening a business account in Dubai is always a bit of a quest. Especially if you are from Russia. Many are refused, some take months to respond to, while others are left with a personal card and hope for the best.

I'm lucky. Without offline visits, without dancing with a tambourine, everything went quite smoothly.

As a freelancer and in a future studio, I now have a full-fledged account in the UAE. Everything is mature: payments, contracts, working with local clients. This gives me stability and confidence that I am on the right path.

Thank you Wio. It seems like just a bank, but it’s still nice.
